Making Strides movement goes virtual to boost its battle against breast cancer
Supporters of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer know it’s more than just a walk. It’s a movement. During the pandemic, their commitment to the fight against breast cancer has been stronger than ever. COVID-19 may impact our everyday lives, but it cannot impact our spirit and determination to continue our fight against cancer,” said Linda Spielmann, director of philanthropy for the American Cancer Society, Southeast Region.
City of Boca Raton Announces City-Wide COVID-19 Recovery Effort
As part of this initiative, the City is asking residents, visitors and businesses to show their support by taking the READY. STEADY. BOCA! pledge. Community partners such as the Boca Raton Airport Authority, Boca Raton Innovation Campus, Baptist Health South Florida – Boca Raton Regional Hospital and the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce have already pledged their commitment.
