Welcome to the first Bridging the Distance 5K to benefit Boca Helping Hands. The event is
championed by Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC) and MobileHelp. Boca Helping Hands provides food, medical and financial assistance to meet basic human needs as well as education, job training and guidance to create self-sufficiency. By 2020 Boca Helping Hands will be the essential community resource helping people cross the bridge from basic need to independence. Bridging the Distance is a certified 5K run for a variety of runners ranging from amateurs to professionals. The race will start and finish on the Boca Raton Innovation Campus, taking advantage of the beautiful Countess de Hoernle Park and Spanish River Library property.
